Fall in Vermont

I had the weekend circled in my mind all summer. An autumn trip back to Vermont to visit family and friends. Utah has been amazing, highlighted by a recent trip to Aspen's The Meeting - where I had the chance to connect with industry friends. However, going home always gives you a warm feeling no matter how wonderful your current residence is. It was a week filled with stunning fall foliage, hiking the Green Mountains in the cool crisp air, hot cider, freshly picked apples, and American Flatbread... Vermont truly is a special place.

Powder Magazine: Buyer's Guide

Powder Magazine's Buyer's Guide just hit newsstands August 15. Last season I participated in their annual "anti-skitest," aptly named Powder Week located at Jackson Hole, WY. The week was a blast and I'm already looking forward to Powder Week 2013. My reviews are featured on Powder's Online Buyer's Guide, however, one of my picks made it into the print version! Check it out below.

So Long Vermont

After calling Vermont home for quite some time, Anna and I have headed west. Prior to driving 1,300 miles on I-80 and picking up our own Bernese Mountain Dog, and aptly naming it Mansfield (Mount Mansfield - highest peak in VT), we went for a hike with friends up Camel's Hump and brought our friend Kapa along for the ride. We'll miss you VT, but we'll be back...
